Bring Your Unit Over, No Scoutbook Login
Sign in with Google or Apple? Password not working? You don't need Campfire to sign in to Scoutbook at all. Three files from the Reports page in Scoutbook Plus (advancements.scouting.org) bring your Scouts, adults and advancement over.
Download from Scoutbook Plus
Open Reports, scroll to Quick Export, and export Advancements, Scout/Members and Leaders & Parents.
Upload to Campfire
Create your unit, pick your program, and choose "Upload Scoutbook export files". Upload them as downloaded, without opening them in Excel first.
Review, Then Import
Campfire shows what it found and what it will add. Nothing is written until you say so.
Already on Campfire?
You can bring in fresh Scoutbook files any time from Settings, and Campfire updates your unit instead of making a new one. Import is included on the free plan, as often as you like.

Questions Leaders Ask
No. With the file import, Campfire never sees your Scoutbook login. You download the files yourself and upload them. If you'd rather, you can still sign in to Scoutbook from Campfire instead.
No. Campfire has a free plan with unlimited members, and Scoutbook import is part of it. Pro is $125 a year for the whole unit, with no per-Scout fees, and adds things like photos, a public unit website and advancement export.
No. The Scout/Members file alone gives you a roster. Add Advancements to bring progress over, and Leaders & Parents for the adults. All three give you the full picture.
Excel rewrites long member numbers when it saves, so Campfire can't match them. Download a fresh copy from Scoutbook Plus and upload it without opening it.
Yes. Scoutbook isn't required by Scouting America, and you can use both. Upload new export files whenever you want Campfire to catch up.
