Troop CampfireTo send a message to your whole troop, use the Message Everyone option in the Conversations page. This creates an All Members group conversation where every active member receives your post.
How to message your whole troop
- Open troopcampfire.app or the Campfire mobile app.
- Tap the chat icon in the top app bar. This opens the Conversations page.
- Tap the + in the top right.
- Choose Message Everyone.
- Write your message and send. Every active member receives it.
Messaging a smaller group
To reach a specific subset of your troop, tap + and choose New Group, then pick the recipients. All your conversations — group and one-on-one — live in the Conversations page.
How members receive messages
- Each member gets a push notification (if they have Message Notifications enabled in Account Settings → Notifications and the app installed)
- Visible in the Conversations page in-app for all recipients
