RSVPs tell you who intends to come. Readiness tells you who is actually cleared to get in the car. It is a per-event checklist covering permission slips, payment, health forms, and anything else your unit requires.

Add readiness items to an event

  1. Create or edit the event.
  2. Find the Readiness checklist section.
  3. Add a permission slip, a payment, or a custom item of your own — a signed medical form, a gear list, a merit badge prerequisite.
  4. Save.

Track who is ready

Once an event has at least one readiness item, a Readiness tab appears on it, beside Details and Attendees. It shows a grid of attendees against items so you can see at a glance who is still outstanding, and tick things off as they come in.

The tab only appears when there is something to track

No readiness items means no Readiness tab — that is why you will not see it on an ordinary troop meeting. Add an item to the event and the tab appears. The tab is leader-only.

Payment and health form columns fill themselves in

Two columns are worked out for you rather than ticked by hand. If the event has a cost and your unit tracks finances, the paid column follows the finance ledger. If the event requires a health form, that column is computed by comparing each member's form against the event dates — so it goes stale on its own when a form expires, which is exactly what you want before a summer camp.
